Hunter Leemon

Adjunct faculty


The Director Sales for the Richmond Kickers, Hunter Leemon performs his duties for one of the largest soccer clubs in Central Virginia, with over 8,000 participants, and the longest tenured professional team in Metro Richmond. Having been in this position since November of 2009, Leemon is responsible for and directly handles all aspects of revenue generation for the club, and is intimately involved with all aspects of marketing and gameday operations. In addition to his responsibilities with the Richmond Kickers, Leemon is an adjunct professor at VCU where he teaches a sports business class within the Center for Sport Leadership masters program.

A native of Lawrenceville, VA, Leemon graduated from Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, VA, where he competed on the baseball team. Upon graduation he entered the commercial real estate business where he was involved with the acquisition and development of retail, residential and historical properties in the southeast United States and northern California. Leemon later attended the Center for Sport Leadership at VCU where he graduated in the spring of 2009. He lives in Richmond with his wife Dee Dee, son Oscar, and cat Bonds.
