Greg Smith received his Master of Science degree from the Center for Sport Leadership in August 2008, and is now in his first year as a graduate assistant and Ph.D. student in the VCU School of Education.
Originally from Fair Haven, N.Y., Smith’s family relocated to Bedford, Va., in his teenage years. Smith graduated with a degree in Sport Management from Lynchburg College, where he competed on the men’s soccer team, winning the conference title his senior year. Smith also serves as coordinator for the Lil’ Kickers child development program located at the Sports Center of Richmond.
