A VCU employee since 1987, Danise Harmon has worked in finance and administrative areas on the university’s Monroe Park and MCV campuses. Harmon’s knowledge, skills and expertise include working on local, state and federal grants and contracts.
In her current position, Harmon applies and interprets existing university policies, procedures, laws and regulations to enhance the functions of the Center for Sport Leadership. Harmon holds an Associate Degree in Office Technology and Business Administration, a certificate of completion in the VCU Sponsored Project Administration Certification Program in 2006, and a certificate of participation in the School of Education Fiscal Training 2007-08. She also completed the Grace E. Harris Leadership Institute, Virginia Commonwealth University Class of 2009, Higher Ground Women's Leadership Development Program. This program promotes leadership and service to benefit our Commonwealth of Virginia.
